I am so excited to announce the official publication of my new book, “Your Perfect Portfolio“. As many of you know, this has been long in the works. It only took me 10 years to write a second book. Ha. Just kidding. It took me 7 years to come up with a decent topic and structure and then 3 years to actually interview people and write it out.

This one is very different from my first book, Pragmatic Capitalism. Your Perfect Portfolio is written in a much more approachable tone and I think you can learn something from it whether you’re a veteran investor or a novice. I interviewed some of the most famous investors in the world and also created several original strategies that I think you’ll love. Some of the strategies discussed are relatively basic (like the Boglehead 3 Fund portfolio) while others are pretty advanced (like Risk Parity and the Endowment Portfolio). Many are in the middle, but all are approachable. And the best part is that I tell you exactly why they’re good or bad and precisely how to implement them. It’s a complete historical and implementation guide.

It’s written in 2 specific parts, with the first section being the basic building blocks of portfolio construction and the second part being a case study of 20+ different styles and strategies. You don’t even have to read both parts to understand the book. And you actually don’t even have to read every chapter in part 2. Although they are mostly written in sequence from least to most complex, you could actually just bounce around from chapter to chapter as you wish.

As the title implies, the goal of this book is to help you find YOUR perfect portfolio. I didn’t title it THE perfect portfolio because the main message of the book is that there is no single perfect portfolio. You need to study the styles and portfolios out there and find something that is perfect for you. And I hope this book helps you achieve that. Or, if nothing else, I hope you learn a little something or enjoy the many terrible dad jokes in there.

Thanks for reading!
