How Portfolio Builder Works

Portfolio Builder Basic pulls the data from the ALM and Risk Assessment tools to help you design an asset-liability matched portfolio using the Defined Duration methodology across 5 simple time horizons: 0–3, 3–7, 7–15, 15+, and ∞ (insurance). You can then refine those 5 buckets as needed into more granular allocations.

Outputs: The outputs in Portfolio Builder are based on the previous algorithms. You can manually alter the risk score or other inputs as needed if you need to make adjustments to this baseline output.
